Ferrochrome Lignosulfonate is used as a drilling fluid treatment agent
Ferrochrome lignosulfonate(Ferrochrome lignosulphonate) is widely used as fluid loss control agent used in drilling fluids with obvious ability to resist high temperature and salty solution.
Drilling fluid is a material that plays an important role in the drilling process, and drilling fluid treatment agent is an important factor to ensure that drilling fluid can adapt to various complex formation conditions and improve drilling quality.
Drilling fluid treatment agents mainly include diluents (or viscosity reducers), fluid loss reducers (used to reduce fracturing fluid leakage from fractures to the formation, which can be dissolved after fracturing, thus reducing fracturing fluid pollution to the formation and rapidly increasing fracturing pressure), foaming agents (foaming agents, including non-condensing gas nitrogen and high temperature resistant foaming agents, Such as sulfonic acid surfactants and nonionic sulfonated surfactants), they are composed of several chemicals.
Viscosifier can be divided into two categories: dispersive type and inhibited type (or non dispersive type). Dispersive viscosifier refers to the space network structure formed by the clay itself or clay and polymer in the drilling fluid, reduce the viscosity of the system at the same time, but also promote the clay particles, especially the external invasion of the formation of clay further dispersed viscosifier, currently in use most belong to this kind of viscosifier, especially in pH10 above the use of lignin sulfonate class; Restraining viscosifier refers to a viscosifier added into drilling fluid that reduces the viscosity of the system without further dispersing the dispersed clay particles or invading clay particles, such as some polymer viscosifier, especially amphoteric polymer viscosifier.
Ferrochrome lignosulfonate has good calcium, salt and high temperature resistance (up to 180℃), and is widely used to treat high calcium and saturated brine drilling fluids.
