This kind of tanning agent is characterized by high dispersion and high stability. It penetrates bare skin faster than natural tanning agent. Its permeability is 35%~40%, volume yield is 200%~320%, and shrinkage temperature is 59~60℃. Its disadvantage is hard leather, produce warping, forming is not good enough. Therefore, lignosulfonate is generally not used alone, often used with other natural tanning agents or chrome salt tanning agents, more is used as a dispersing agent for synthetic tanning agents or resin tanning agents, on the other hand, it is also used for the production of synthetic tanning agents, to reduce the cost of synthetic tanning agents.
